The 100% Iberian Ghianda Ham represents the pinnacle of the world's deli. Each piece is the result of an ancestral process and a unique ecosystem. Iberian pigs live in total freedom, feeding exclusively on acorns (bellotas) during the Montanera period, giving the meat that oleic acid that makes it not only exquisite, but also healthy.
Sensory Characteristics:
• To the touch: Soft and unctuous texture thanks to the low melting point of the acorn fat.
• On sight: Intense red color with veins of amber and bright fat.
• To the taste: Sweet and toasted notes of dried fruit, with a persistent and velvety aftertaste.
